4. The Hamburglar
Andrew Hammond of the Ottawa Senators began living up to his nickname, “The Hamburglar”, during his 2014-2015 NHL rookie season. He acquired the name during his career at Bowling Green University, where he was a stellar goaltender. His teammates often felt he was “stealing” wins for them in response to his remarkable feats at his position. Feeding into the hype, fans have made it a tradition to throw hamburgers onto the ice after a Senator’s victory. How’s that for a victory celebration?!
